We undertake a wide variety of valuations on property, for many different purposes and set out below a brief guide to the most common type of valuations we do.
Valuation for Sale
If you are thinking of selling your property, we will call out, by appointment, to inspect your property and to give you a free appraisal on the best marketing price. We will also give you advice on any works we would recommend to make your property more saleable and achieve the best price.
Valuation for Taxation
We are able to provide valuations, whether it is to establish the value of a property in 1982, for Capital Gains Tax purposes, or a valuation to help with tax planning for the future.
Valuations for Buyers
As part of the RICS Homebuyers Report and Valuation, we can provide you with advice as to whether the property being purchased is good value for money.
Connected Parties
Sometimes sales are agreed between connected parties, such as family, businesses or friends, and an independent valuation is required to set a fair sale price
