Rent Reviews

Most forms of lease make provision for the rent being paid to be reviewed. Whether you are a landlord or a tenant, we can work on your behalf to ensure that the best value is being achieved. We have extensive knowledge of what rents are being asked and paid for different properties and can use this knowledge to your advantage in negotiations and advice.

Boundary Disputes

These can sometimes escalate from a minor inconvenience into an aggravated Court case if sensible professional advice is not sought at an early stage. We can read through legal documents and plans, inspect boundaries on the ground and advise you on the best course of action to resolve the situation.

Council Tax or Rating

If you feel that the council tax band on your house is too high or the rateable value of your business premises is unrealistic, then we can advise on this and, if necessary, make appeals on your behalf.

Schedule of Condition or Dilapidation

At times, it is necessary to record the condition of a property at a point in time, at say the beginning of a lease or tenancy.

Alternatively, a property might not have been looked after as it should have and a report is required to identify what repairs have not been carried out. We can undertake these survey reports.
